Her name is called The Dotted Delight but I affectionately refer to her as “Lila“. Actually C gave her that name and I quickly took to it.

Good Vibes in San Francisco sent out a twitter message a few weeks ago asking for reviewers. I quickly responded with an enthusiastic YES and scoured the site for hours until I picked her.

The Dotted Delight stands in at 7 long, 1 1/2 in diameter and comes in either Metallic Purple or Lavender. I ended up getting her in Metallic Purple and when it was finially delievered, the packaging it came in was quite retro looking and cute. For some reason, she intrigued me. She looked like a cross between a sea serpent and the most extreme g-spot dildo I had ever seen. I had to have her!

What also made me decide on her was the fact that not only is this a high quality made toy, but it was also exclusively designed for Good Vibes and since I’m a NYC kinda gal with no plans to travel to San Francisco anytime soon, I thought having an exclusive west coast dildo would be the perfect addition to my collection.

Battery Life/Bullet Vibrators
For some reason, I am a mutant that magicially drains the life out of batteries once they are inserted inside me. I could be the new X-Men, aptly named Draino!  So although the battery life faded on my very quickly (about 20 minutes in to using the toy during sex) I have to say that when BOTH vibrators were set on high, the feeling was absolutely AMAZING. Pure Heaven!

What IS good about the vibration option is that you can insert not one but TWO vibrators, this is something I haven’t seen before in a dildo design and it’s a cool feature. They are both insertable at the base of the dildo and as according to Good Vibes “One vibe can be strategically placed for clitoral stimulation, while the other can be inserted into the shaft. “

Nubbed Texture - How It All Works And Feels 
What is interesting about this toy is the Nubs that cover over 3/4 of the shaft. This is what I wanted to try out the dildo for. For me, I didn’t feel the individual nubs as much as I felt an overall GIRTH effect. I’m a “girth” girl to begin with, so for me and users that enjoy girth, this is an excellent feature. However I would advise to make sure you are wet or that the toy is properly and seriously lubricated, otherwise the nubs feel like they are scratching the inside of your girl and that is never a sexy feeling…at least for me.

Harness Compatibility
Unfortunately, this is where the toy falls short, boo! Although this dildo is a Harness Compatable toy, the nubs at the base of the dildo actually shorten the length when placed into a harness. C and I used the Dotted Delight with my signature strap and within 5 minutes, we had to switch to my other toy because the angle that the strap created didn’t hit the right spots, plus since the dildo was shortened due to the nubs, C had problems keeping it inside me. She did confess that she had to work harder when using this particular toy.

Care/Cleaning
The one great thing about the Dotted Delight is that it is made out of Silicone which in non-pourous so it’s very safe to use with partners. You can clean it with mild soap and water or boil it for a few minutes to make it sparkling clean! This is why I love Silicone, it’s high quality and really no fuss at all.

Overall I would recommend the Dotted Delight as a solo or mutual play dildo. Getting the right angle with this toy creates magical wonders and is QUITE delightful!
