So Formspring just sent me this email saying “You have new questions”. If you know me, you already know that i have an inner hatred for that site and it’s infectious nature that has hit Twitter. I mean we already have so many self-indulgent sites to begin with (facebook, tumblr etc.). Do we really need another?
BUT I couldn’t resist the questions but i refuse to use the site..so I am taking everything that has been compiled from the last 2 months or so and answering them on my blog…where I really think Formspring belongs…and yes it is opinion and yes I am quite the opinionated diva…

What is your favorite part of performing?
I’m not quite sure who asked this question, but it is a GREAT one! Especially since I love to talk about myself! LOL
What I love about performing is the energy of the audience in contrast to WHAT I’m performing. Whether it’s a classic inspired number or something a bit more raunchy, the audience is what feeds my desire and the audience deserves to be entertained. Give me an audience and I’ll give it a show-stopping, jaw-dropping act!

I’m a super awesome marketer…no really..I have well over 11 years of extensive marketing and graphic design experience.
Which MEANS if i didn’t want to be marketed as QUEER…you would never see it…I do it on purpose, mainly because I believe queers need to have a strong voice when it comes to performing. It doesn’t overshadow it as it exemplifies what it is that I do. It’s there for a reason. It is the springboard of which I create my characters, concepts and acts. It’s about combining the elements of queerness and performance art that blends together to make a very tasty yet functional rainbow colored cake!
If stranded somewhere for a long time, what 5 books would you absolutely need to have with you?

I’m literate and all that…i really am…but I’m the WORST book person EVER…seriously i would have to scrap the books and buy a kindle and maybe read books on sex education and some harry potter…..other than that…i don’t have a book that I would die for to have.
I know..sex blogger…who doesn’t read books…BLASPHEMY! I suck…..giggles

I was asked to write a bit about my sexual freedom for the 2010 NYC Sex Bloggers Calendar by the lovely Tess and Diva..two ladies that I have been fortunate enough to call as my good friends over the past year.
The first time I heard about the calendar….I wanted IN! I wanted a taste of what it would be like but I also discovered that I wasn’t the only one doing a sex blog. For close to a year, i was writing on my experiences on dating and also about dating some horrendous individuals! When I heard about the launch party, and that a few of my friends were involved..I HAD to go!
Going to that party meant going on my third date with C. We had a lovely dinner and sex dessert on our first date and went to Badass’s Halloween burlesque bash on Halloween for our 2nd. We had decided that we were going to take things slow and not jump into bed with one another. This plan really didn’t last long but we were determined to make it work! C and I ended up for the most part at the party making out in the back close to the sound booth. This is why alot of people at the party including Diva never met me. I was fortunate to have met Tess outside while i was having a smoke break and we hit it off…we also became twitter friends! LOL
The whole experience opened by eyes to a whole commUNITY that I had never known. I wanted to become part of this wonderful group of intelligent and sexually diverse group of women because it had been something that I had been searching for that was lacking in my life.
Throughout the year, I have been for the most part due to my crazy work schedule, part of the parties, the outings and the lovely drinks and cupcakes! I went to the bloggers events, and the bloggers came to my burlesque show. It was a meeting of the minds and I fit in perfectly. Plus I got to make out with a few of them too so I wasn’t complaining. Giggles
Then as the old saying goes “Be careful what you wish for”. I was asked by Tess and Diva to be a part of the 2010 edition! I was so enthralled by the prospect of fulfilling my wish to one day become a calendar girl! The theme was Sexual Freedom and I knew exactly what it was that I was going for!
My own person theme was Narcissism. No really…I’m not joking! My character or more importantly “Alter-Ego” is a very narcissitic diva who loves to look at herself as well as love herself several times a day. For me, narcissism wasn’t looked upon as a negative thing. It was about loving yourself and reveling in all the goodness that is you. It was about being your own damn sexy goddess!
My image was an homage to the greek god Narcissus, known for falling in love with himself as he is enchanted by his reflection in a pool. In a way, he was totally queer! Although there were some negative aspects about his character, I felt most connected to the concept of the piece. The quality of self-love and self-preservation. Yes some may argue about the story and yes I totally know the story in it’s entirety. It is also a myth and with myths we take what we will from them. It was also about being connected with the gods as I am a practicing Pagan in the NYC area. It was spiritual as much as it was sexual.
I had the dubious honor of working with the amazing photographer Melvin Moten Jr. who until then had never worked with. We had wanted to work with each other several times throughout several years but never had the time or opportunity. Here he would photograph me at the famed Chelsea Hotel, and the final shot was of me “in the closet”. How appropo.
We had an amazing shoot together and the final pic was off and sent to the presses! After waiting what felt like years although was just a few short months, the moment arrived at the launch party at Fontana’s when I finally opened up the calendar and saw my pic! I was so proud of myself and proud of the long journey that came full circle on that warm November night. There were not any words to express how I felt after viewing the printed piece.
So I would like to extend many thanks to Tess and Diva and all those who came out and supported and represented at the party!!! Performing my signature burlesque routine in front of all of you despite Con Ed’s disapproval was amazing and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Til then, crossing my fingers for a taste at 2011’s edition!

So I had the pleasure of receiving this toy from Tess at In The Flesh erotic reading series. She wasn’t a fan of electric type devices but i was GAME to try this one on!!
The Introduction

The Review
On the back of the blue pad, there are two black spots…this is where the magic happens. These are the electrodes that the silver remote controls. I placed it right by my clit and turned it on. At first the controls seemed daunting but I soon figured out that it has a built-in safety features so the controls make sense. Every time you change modes, you have to turn the intensity up, which makes me trust the product more. Also to turn it on and off, one must turn up the intensity every time. This feature prevents a high intensity shock when first turning on the toy. I thought it was genius actually.
I took my time trying it on places. I found that Mode A’s tapping was way to intense for me, but I liked Mode C because it had a bit of variety. I also noticed that the key to this product lies in it’s placement. Some places feel wierd, but then other places feel quite good. I also think this works well as a massage tool, especially on my upper arms! That part felt yummy!!!
Ok so the FEEL of the product. Honestly for days I’ve been trying to figure out the perfect way to describe it. I still am having trouble defining the unique sensation. It’s almost like a sensation from WITHIN your body coming out. Also the intensity on this product DOES NOT MESS AROUND!! OMG I could NOT handle the intensity settings all the way. Out of the 8 levels, I think I managed to handle level 3 or 4! So bear caution with that. Some places can actually hurt, but then it comes back to the “placement” issue that I was talking about earlier.
After I used it for awhile..and YES it did feel good on my clit. I convinced C for a good 10 minutes to try it out for herself. She was quite hesitant to say the least, but i finally got her pants off! C actually enjoyed the product and could handle an intensity level of 5 right by her clit. She masturbated with it for a good 10 minutes and said with the right “breath work” and “meditation”, that one could orgasm from this.
I agree, one could have an “hands-free orgasm” with this product, given the right placement, mode, and intensity. I could see this product being more of tantric thing, or something for edge play and other kinky adventures. Also it can be used to stimulate the booty area too however our booties didn’t really get what we wanted from this product, although the clit placement felt quite good.
All in all, it was good enough for us to have hot sex afterwards, so I definitely recommend this product as a foreplay toy. You will have to work with the toy to really find if A) This kind of sensation works for you and B) If this sensation will make you orgasm. This may not be the right toy for everyone.
So for this product, I have to give this 4 out of 5 nipples. For me, this product had nothing to do with the orgasm but rather the journey itself. Plus the safety features on the product is what really stood out. It is a well designed and well thought out toy to introduce couples and otherwise to electric play and sensation play.
